Analog recording technique was manufactured, in average, 10-30 years ago, the recorders and players we normally service and repair. Due to natural cause of aging, many, and we can say surely most of these recorders have certain need of repair, or maintenance, to restore their functionality to its original, or close to, specification. Common repair works we provide in the field of, preferably High-End Analog Recorders are:

1. Belt replacements, on belt based recorders.
2. Pinch roller replacement.
3. Worn heads replacement, upon availability
4. VU meters bulbs replacement with Super Bright LED diodes, where applicable
5. Aged electronic components replacement, as electrolytic capacitors, resistors and active semiconductor components
6. Major component replacement as broken reel plates, motors, etc., upon availability
7. Other specific for analog recording repair works

If you feel your recorder sounds worse than you remember it from years ago, or it neither does work at all nor function properly, most likely the recorder requires R2R Maintenance check-up, or R2R Repair.
